RELEASE PAPER (R/P) LAMINATION TECHNOLOGY
Our manufacturing technologies utilizing the Release Paper (R/P) for coating and fabric bonding.
RELEASE PAPER TYPE LAMINATION
Roskin™ Leather is created through the R/P Lamination method. For our Roskin leathers,
the coating ranges from 120µm to 800µm, with 200µm being the ideal thickness.
Our JCO leather line is also created with R/P Lamination where the we utilize the 3 coating heads to create vintage looking leather with 2-tone color effects.
3 COATING STATIONS x 4 HEAT CHAMBERS
Jesco Korea exhibits one of the longest manufacturing lines for Release Paper lamination production. We couple 3 coating stations (or heads) and 4 heat chambers into one line which extends 140 meters (153 Yards) in length for one R/P production line.
This long line allows for faster production speeds due to multiple heat curing sources
as well as 3 layer coating technology that can be operated in one sitting.
RELEASE PAPER FABRIC BONDING
Our fabric bonding manufacturing line is specifically designed to have the fabrics bond
without any heat damage. We utilize the Release Paper as an interim carrier of adhesives through the heat chamber. Once it is semi-dryed, the adhesive is applied to the fabrics to secure a seal without any direct application of heat to the fabric.
GRAVURE COATING
Jesco utilizes a 3-piece gravure coating machine to lightly coat on the surface of said fabrics. This technology allows us to coat on mesh fabrics for shoes to create a 2-tone effect.
